My Mom had the idea of designing a costume in the form of The Declaration of Independance, but I told her I wouldn't wear it, not to waste her time. Turned out, quite a few others had the same idea, as there were at least a dozen or so walking around with their version of a D of I costume.I was one of just a handful of others who attended this class day in my normal class uniform, jeans and t-shirt.
It was hilarious to see the ideas some students came up with, like the guy to the far right with the paper plate with the American flag design taped to his forehead and a flag hanging out his back pocket.
